Fred Nachman

Fred Nachman has counseled top management at a wide variety of companies on investor and corporate strategy. He became a consultant in 2000 after a successful term as co-founder and executive vice president of Corporate Technology Communications, Inc. (now Ketchum/Corporate Technology Communications), where he supervised the investor relations practice area and mergers and acquisitions communications. The public relations agency grew to become one of the ten largest agencies in Chicago within two years. Prior to starting CTC, Fred was senior vice president and director of the investor relations practice at Golin/Harris Communications, Chicago, and a partner at The Financial Relations Board, Inc., where he supervised one of the agency's largest account groups.

He holds numerous professional awards, including several for annual reports. He won the Silver Award from the Financial World annual report competition for Budget Rent a Car Corp. for the top IPO annual report of the year. Fred has also won two Financial World Bronze Awards for Patterson Dental Company, Nicholson Awards for Summcorp and Chandler Insurance Company and a CIPRA Award for Old Republic International Corp. He is the author of the chapter on investor relations in Real Estate Investment Trusts, published in 1998 by McGraw-Hill.

Fred earned a B.A. in American History and Civilization from Boston University and also attended Lehigh University. He is a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI).
